Subject: An application for constructing a bridge over the canal.
Dear Sir,
We, the in habitants of your locality, would like to inform you that there are about 3000 people live in this area. But the main problem is the educational institutions, the T.N.O. office, Union Parishad, the post office is on the other side of the canal and there is no means of communication across except the only ferry. It takes many hours to cross over and sometimes causes accidents as you must have heard about the ferry-launch collision last year which took more than 200 people. The students who attend schools and colleges and the people who go to the sadar face a lot of trouble crossing the canal. Beside this, the business is greatly hampered for not having a bridge which could save time and lives.
I, therefore, fervently hope that you would be kind enough to take necessary steps to construct a bridge over the canal to mitigate the long term sufferings of the people of our locality.
