The 1st year honors admission tests of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) under the 2012-13 academic session are set to begin on November 6, 2012.
The admission test of 'D' unit will be held from 10.30 am to 11.30 am and admission test of 'A' unit will be held from 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm in the first day of admission test.
However, the admission tests of 'E' & 'B' unit will be held on November 7, 2012 and admission tests of 'F' & 'C' unit will be held on November 8, 2012.
A total of 75,802 admission seekers have registered for the admission test against 1,260 seats in 21 departments under six faculties.
About 60 students will have to compete this year for a seat in the university.
Some 15,762 students applied against 180 seats in 'A' unit; 18,353 against 360 in 'B' unit; 16,190 students against 240 in 'C' unit; 8,594 students against 240 in 'D' unit; 8,473 students against 120 in 'E' unit and 8,430 students applied in 'F' unit against 120 seats.
The admission tests of the university will be held in 14 educational institutes of the city including the university campus in two shifts and the result will be published on November 15, 2012.
